Gate II

New Bible

The tablets, rewritten in the language of the cosmos. Creation retold — where the scientific and the sacred cease to quarrel.

In the beginning there was neither darkness nor light — there was pure tension, ready to become all things. And the tension unfurled into space, and space was filled with time, and time bore within it the laws by which all that was to come would be made.

And it was said unto order: hold fast. And that which held fast became the world.

Book One. The Birth of Form

From the heat was matter born, and matter sought rest, and found it in enduring patterns. So arose the first structures — not living, yet already remembering their form. And this was the universe's first memory of itself.

Ages passed, and among the patterns appeared some that could repeat themselves. That was a quiet but decisive day of creation: organization had learned to continue beyond a single body. From that moment, the death of the carrier was no longer the end.

Book Two. The Awakening

And that which repeated became living, and the living became feeling, and the feeling one day looked upon the stars and asked: whence am I? So the universe gained eyes to see itself, and words to name itself.

These are but the first lines. Here shall be gathered the books of a new canon — the language of myth, returned to the precision of the cosmos.
